Akl & Upper NI Branch Newsletter: June/July 09

 NEWS!

Greetings fellow Yogis and Yoginis

Please note that a significant piece of upgrade work to the YA website has now been completed. This upgrade incorporates the new Branch structure and the following new features:

    * Re-working the YA *online membership database *to reflect the new

      four Branch structure.

    * If you visit the *Branches* or *Find-a-Teacher* page the new four

      Branch structure will be evident.

    * The *membership application/renewal form* has been changed to

reflect the new Branch structure. If you ever want to have copies

of this form, please remember the copy on the website is always the    most up-to-date.

    * The *Shop Page* has been re-done and several members' goods and

services are now being promoted via this page (a new membership benefit).

    * *Article Archive *is a new page visible to any casual visitors,

and logged-on members. This has some fancy features for the

web-minded that means we can archive and re-publish appropriately

indexed notices that have been put on the Notice Board, as well as

now increasing the number of articles we can put on the website

for members' on-going education and enlightenment.

To those of you who have forgotten your password or to get into the Members Area - don't be embarrassed. Please either drop Peter, our website administrator, an email or have a look in the Winter Newsletter for instructions.

Our AGM will be conducted via the website this year so this might be a good time for you all to "log-on" have a look around and vote. We encourage you to make use of the facility we have at our disposal. The website is a tool, and can be a genuine path to "Inspiring Unity through Yoga." Don’t forget IYTA teacher members can advertise their classes for free on the website.

Hope to see you all at the Teacher Only Day soonJ

Love and Light,

Auckland-Upper North Island Committee
